Best camera > £200

Hi all,

Im just getting into the photo scene and after a decent camera. I have a £200 budget and would prefer a small/compact camera really. Whats the best option for me?

Casio Exlim,

not so compact, the CAnon A620, which you can get for £220.

however, it depends i your budget also includes rechargables (e.g. canon takes AA batteries), and memory, which will be around £30 per Gb (and you will want a Gb trust me!

Just been looking at the A620 bandit - looks like a great piece of kit. Who owns one of these? Whats your opinions?
