Best camera for under £100

hi, just wanted to know which camera to get, the budget is under £100 as i normally don't use cameras but i need one for a holiday.

At the price point any Lumix or Canon camera should be ok. Bare in mind if you buy in the high street all the accessories will be over priced.

If you're not really doing video then you won't need a big memory card. 8GB will be plenty.

Its really just for a holiday to Thailand. I will be recording HD videos throughout my trip and taking a lot of photos too.

I was thinking of getting the Canon IXUS 115 HS Digital Camera and also a 32gb class 10 card (also baffled by which is decent one to record 1080p).

what do you think?

so after some research i have narrowed it down to either Canon Ixus 115 HS or Samsung ST96. Any opinions and suggestions welcome.
