Best Canary island and resort for weather & enjoyable time, Jan 24

Looking to run off for a week with the wife for a bit of sunshine.

Prefer hotel. Wondering about All Inclusive vs other options.

Which island is best for weather in Jan? On that island which resort is best?

I was in Lanzarote the week before Christmas and the weather was much more favourable than the UK, low 20s in the day and drops to mid teens at night

Any of the 3 main resorts there would be fine, Puerto Del Carmen seems to be the biggest but also packed full of Brits/Irish drinking €2 pints all day so if that’s not your thing look at Costa Teguise or Playa Blanca as they are slightly nicer

It’s a while since I went to the other islands but since they are all so close to each other I think it’s mostly the wind that differs between them? I could be wrong though

Each island has it's different draws. If you like partying, Tenerife. If you want a beach holiday, Fuerteventura. It really depends what type of holiday you like. They're all great in Jan for winter sun, the climate is very similar across all the islands
