Hi,
I am after a fun car game to play 2-4 players. I never really spend time building up a career in the games, I usually just play multiplayer arcade style. Any recommendations?

Burnout Revenge by a MILE!

Played them all, Burnout is by far the best game. I think I even prefer it to PGR3 which got a bit boring after a while for me.

Burnout if you want cars with bombs in and general chaos and mayhem..

can't beat crash modes for mp :D
Does it have mines, rockets, shotguns, machine guns, missles and tank cannons? :) Burnout doesn't come close to that, which is why I stuck my copy on MM.

Couldn't agree more. I have Full Auto coming tomorrow I hope and still believe I will hardly play it because I have Burnout! :p.

Odd, because at that exact moment I felt I had lost all respect for you.
I wondered why that was ;)

Full Auto is the king of arcade racing.

I'm surrounded by inbreds! HELP MEEEE!
On a serious note, they're talking rubbish.

Burnout Revenge > all.

(I missed Full Auto this morning, postman didn't knock loud enough).

It is about time you left home anyway isn't it :p

Burnout is for rednecks.
Full Auto is for the sophisticated gamer with a touch of James Bond about him.
PGR3 is for offspring of the Schumacker (sp) family for clinical, cold and analytical gamers.

I played Burnout on only a few occasions, I just couldn't get the hang of it after FA. I wanted destruction, I wanted rockets. Instead revenge wanted me to ram cars off the road and etc. It just felt stale. I've not played FA in a while now but had one of my best Live experiences on that since PGR3's early days.
