Best card for Physx

I had a 8800gt but thats seems to be dead so looking for another cheep card.(dont want a used card or one from eBay)

Do you need a 2nd card for physics? I believe a 2nd card for Physics gives less performance then sli. Unless you have an old different GPU laying about it's not worth buying a dedicated card for physics.

Ignoring the fact that atm unless you play Mafia 2 or Batman AA most of the time theres not really any need for one... prolly best bet is to look for a GTS250 - I think theres a low powered eco version that would work nicely - tho hard to find stock any more. Other than that theres not really any useful cards on sale atm at a reasonable price (GTS450 is best part of £100 and GT440 probably wouldn't cut it that well for the few games where a card doing PhysX is an advantage).

I dont play them at all but my boy does all the time.

I dont mind buying a card from here just dont want to buy a dead card from ebay.
