Best card ?

Im just wondering but whats is the best card out there at the moment hands down beating competition in to a smooth paste ?

i think its the 8800ultra, although price to performance ratio compared to lesser cards isnt as good

The 3870X2 performs slightly better than the Ultra and is better value.

ah, i thought the 3870X2 was more dependent on driver/CF support then the 8800Ultra, making the 8800ultra better in games where CF support is bad, or does the 3870 beat the 8800ultra in all cases?

Oh No ! another question for the fanboys to jump at,

You won't go far wrong with a HD3870xt or a 8800 gt for around the £160 mark.

Anymore is overkill and won't really give you any better enjoyment,

Buy either of these and then spend the rest of you money on games to enjoy them on.

Don't pay any more money than that, as all your paying for is uber xxx extreme ways to pay through the nose for something that really isn't much better.

It is dependent on drivers. unsupported game + 3870X2 = same FPS as a plain 3870. To be fair though, I think they'll be pretty quick to support new games as it's the only way the card is better than an Ultra.
