Best case for an 8800ultra sli system?

Hi,

My setup is in a crappy plastic case and so gets hot due to bad cooling. What case should I get that has great cooling and plenty of room for the 2 ultras and other stuff. I was looking at the Antect nine hundred, it looks like it has good cooling but is only about an inch taller and the same lengh as my current case.

You want to skip anything which can't take E-ATX motherboard unless you want it to be cramped. (like Antec Tiny Towers, not even longest graphic card)

Unless you want lot (>5) of 5.25" bays or Stacker style full configurability those mentioned Lian Lis would be very good.
(Lian Li A77 would be my choise from all Stacker style cases)
Basic frame is mostly same in all A-serie full towers and they all seem to have similar holes/slots next to expansion card slots so this PCI/graphic card cooler should fit also to A70/71.
(exhausts heat of cards and produces airflow over them without breaking front-back airflow)

What about the Antec P182 with the upper chamber hard drive bay removed? You would still have an intake fan blowing directly on to it. The only problem might be what PSU you use as it could get in the way of the lower chamber fan.

I actually found that side panel fans over the graphics card didn't help cool my 8800GT. It decreased the idle temps by about 1-2c but increased the "motherboard" temperature by 6-7 (38c!!)

The antec1200 looks like a pimped out nerds paradise but in reviews it does better than the nice looking coolermaster cosmos for cooling and noise.

agreed, but replace all the led fans with yate loons or sumit and you have a nice looking/performing case

antec 1200 then, an extra 3 front drive bays (120mm) taller
