Hey looking for an opinion on gaming monitors. I am upgrading from my sweetheart CRT which went bust couple of days ago, i play CS competitively so want the closest thing to a CRT i can get ideally. Primarily ill use it for games but also want something that can handle movies etc too.

From looking about the site ive kinda figured its between these 3.........

Around £250 is my budget, these 3 just hit it, any help is appreciated and any other suggestions will have my consideration,

Thanks

PS. Im probably gonna use it with this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-064-OE&tool=5 if that makes any difference.

If any mod spots this could u make it "Best Monitor For Gaming" my mind was somewhere else =[

You guess wrong, I use a Samsung TN panel alongside my Dell 2209WA and the Dell is better in every way. If you want the nearest picture wise the 2209WA is the best compromise, if you need the extra FPS a 120hz monitor is capable of giving you, then grab either of the others.

I am no competitive gamer - but the Dell 2209WA handles games brilliantly for what me and my friends use them for ie. Battlefield 2, dragon age, left 4 dead etc. and it is wonderful. Plus, when not gaming it has all the wonderful benefits of an IPS panel which make using applications/surfing the web/watching videos a treat.

For fast paced games, the 120Hz panels above are slightly faster responding than the dell and have reduced input lag - but the dell's is still rather good in these areas and meanwhile looks much better than both of the other monitors.
