ABERDEEN!!!!!!
Right, basic enough question.

i'm looking for a new case with obviously better airflow than my case, that would preferably not look like it fell out of some sort of scrapyard.

i'm presuming my budget is about £100-£120. size doesn't matter too much. and colour isnt a problem as i'm quite a crafty little bugger(and live less than 20 mins away from B&Q). the case i have atm is an antec 200 ( http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-125-AN&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=160 here at overclockers), it isn't a horrible case, but its a little crap. i'm not relay that bothered about brand.

i'm also looking to "update" my CPU cooler soon as i hate it. needs to be full ATX, and be able to fit at least 2 5850s in it(only got one right now, but might get another as why the hell not...)

so, after that little blether, any sugestions?

I would suggest the Lancool K58 or K62 if they're in stock, however I don't know if the cards will fit as I don't own either :(
They look nice though! :D

I'd consider £100-120 more than a "moderate" price personally, as you have most of the market to choose from at that point, ignoring the daft prices at the extremely high end.

As suggested above, check out the K58 if you're on a budget, otherwise you need to decide what you're after before you part with more than that. You've got a broad range of Lian Li's available that would be worth looking at, which would be where I'd start.

Yea, the Lancools are pretty good cases, as are the Fractals, plus they'd leave you with a bit of change :p

Or for a bit more, like chips said the Coolermaster Stacker is a good case. I would personally go for a Lian Li though, got one now and just a properly nice case. On budget you could get something like the PC-60FW (there is a similar, cheaper version without a window if you prefer) or if you can stretch your budget a bit, the PC-P50B is a very nice case indeed and has great airflow :)

yeah, but i know a lot of people use money to show there egos... and being a student i have to skimp and save. i used moderate as yes there are a lot of silly prices out there.

i dont think budget is the biggest problem, its just the best performance for that price im looking for. and my CPU seems to be running hot so i may be needing to fiddle arround with configurations.

i WAS thinking of a Lian Li, but they all just look like shiney boxes... i hear they are realy good performers. but i realy dont know what im looking for. i might actualy get away with a new CPU cooler and better fans on this case...

I would go the £4 extra and get the Antec 300. I just received mine today from OCUk and its an awesome case for the price. Currently in the process of modding it :)

Check out the reviews before you decide.

Mik3, i already have the antec 200, :P im bloody hoping its the combo of that and a crap CPU cooler thats making me CPU so hot at stock clocks, :S

38-42*c idle temps arnt realy very good, esspecialy on a phenomII, :S

Well if you think the Lian Li's are a bit plain, have you looked at the Coolermaster HAF's? I personally cant stand the look of them lol, but people seem to either love or hate them. But theres no denying that the internals are very well laid out and offer great cooling performance

I've got to agree with Ducky Spud on this for that price go with one of the Fractal cases and use the spare change on something else. From the looks of some reviews they are amazing value for money and punching way above their class.

Having just built my new system I can deffo recommend the HAF932. I was a bit worried about how it looked but having built it I am very happy with it now. I don't stare at it while I'm using it so the looks issue is a mute point and it's pretty quiet (considering the fans that are in it). Of course, if looks are everything then you may want to look elsewhere. I did a toss up between this and the antec 1200 and went for the HAF due to it having the larger internal space.
