Best Case to Mod?

Im planning on my first build soon and id love to mod a case paint and other mods but which case is easiest to mod but also keeps good cooling

A friend of mine had the Antec 900 and painted that himself, turned out really nice. They are good aswell for drilling into for extra cable management (which he also did). I have a 900 but I've never done anything with it myself, apart from move the front fans around.

Any case is fine for painting. Cant see how any of them will be easier to paint than another as long as all the panels come off easy.
