Hey

Im planning on building my computer in the next few weeks. I still havent bought a case yet. Im looking for something which as performance, coolness, and apperance. Is there anything out there that meets the spec except the antec p180.

Thanks Patrick

Looks are entirely personal.

The Akasa Eclipse will coole better than the P180.

The Lian Li PC7+ is built a little better, is cheaper and will cool on a par or just slightly behind the P180.

The Coolermaster Stacker 830 and TJ07 will cool better, while being big cases. The 830 has build quality problems, and the TJ07 is a lot more expensive.

So, what is your budget, and what other cases do you like the look of; or is the P180 (in black I hope) the one case you wish to get?

At the min the buget is free standing im willing to pay as much as it takes. Yeah that black p180b is cool but i heard it is a nighmare to sort the cableing.

Not really, it is a tricky case to build in as you have to make sure you get a PSU with long enough cables, nothing to serious as long as you are aware of it.

If you like the P180's looks and like the price then it is the right case for you! If you have any trouble the Antec support is the best in the buisness really.

No reason not to buy it, although there are slightly superior cases but I do not think you like the look of them, and they are swings and roundabouts with the P180.

It is one of the best cases out at the moment, little to pricey to recommend on mass but if you have the money, like the looks of it then there are really no valid reasons coming from me; a person who does not really like the case at all as it resembles a fridge, for you not to get one.

Value for money it is beaten yes, but if you have the money!

Theres so much choice but ill keep everything in mind when buying.

Ps Is there any good psu's which will accomadate twin sli config and is around 600 w mark.

Thanks for the advice

My friend has just bought the Zalman TNN500AF Totally No Noise Computer Case (CA-002-ZA) for £650. He said it is one of the best cases ever. If your budget can stretch that far he recommends it to anyone.

yeah thought about that case the spec sounds amazing but i want a case which has looks and performance. My final budget is £4500 yeah i no but i want to do a good job this time.

Seasonic 600w then or a even more high end type.

Case, with that money don't even consider the P180!

Silly money for the case if that is your total budget, your looking at a Lian Li S80, v1000+, TJ07, TJ03 and watercooling for that money! Not a P180!

You could also import a Windy case and try one of them, or just get the S80 which takes most of the good features from them.

S80 should be here by now. :(

Not been able to find a release date but should be here soon, I really do hope so as im holding out for one.

TJ07 with watercooling would be great with that budget, go totally overboard and get the best of everything as value for money in that budget goes out the window. :p

The S80 will be a awsome case, but internal Rad mounting will be nigh on impossible or take a lot of modding to do, not seen the case yet mind but the dual pannel system may make it hard to install blowholes and the like.
