Best Ceiling Access Point?

I saw Ubiquiti, wasn't sure how Enterprise they are rather than easy to setup, presume ok?

The Router is a BT Homehub in the loft, I need to investigate how overlapping SSIDs work, want them to be the same so devices switch between them seamlessly, do you normally set them all to the same channel? or is the whole point that they are different?

Will have three access points coming off it.

Ubiquiti are great. Led can be toggled on or off.

Looks like a fire alarm.
I've been waiting for the new UAP AC Pro to come in stock for ages! Just got an email from the supplier saying they won't be receiving their shipment and haven't got a new date. :(

Me too, looks like January right now...

If anything, they're easier to setup than a normal access point :D

You can either have a cloud managed option or locally managed.
-Cloud managed has a yearly price, many of them come with 3x years free.
-Locally managed = install the Unifi controller on your PC (doesn't need to be running for Wifi to work, just to make change to the settings).

Connect it up to your router.
Login to your controller, if it's a Cloud setup, it's already been done, if local, you click 'adopt', update it if it needs updating, done.

In the controller you can change the SSID, password etc and see logs. You view it in your browser, very simple to use.
