I have a couple of xbox pads and want to be able to charge both

I have one charge cable

Is it better to just get another cable or would some sort of station be better?

What are people using? I need recommendations!

Rechargable batteries. Seriously. They last sooooo much longer than the terrible 360 charge packs.

Just made the switch to rechargeable AA batteries (Eneloops) after a couple of the official MS batteries gradually died. It's an improvement IMHO, although the Eneloops are a bit of a tight squeeze.

I always used good quality rechargeable batteries (eneloops as mentioned above)
Had 8 total so always had two in each of my two controllers and four charging which meant never running out or having to wait for a recharge.
Well worth going that route as the batteries hold their charge really well.

Never actually used charge packs but that's because I haven't seen people singing their praises ;)

Wanted a station really because you can just pick up the controller and put it back when done. Not to keen on actual normal AAs unless they work in a dock too

I do excactly this except for i used the charge packs beforehand and they pale in comparison to some good quality rechargable batteries

I use energizer rechargeable batteries. Cant beat it. Charges 4 at a time. So Buy 8 batteries, Charge 4, Use 4. And switch. Last longer than the 360 kits

Purrrrfect

just plug them in pretty much any USB slot going. TV, PC etc etc

Oh, only just seen the one charge cable part.

I swear by GP Recyko batteries, good bit cheaper than Eneloops and are fantastic. You can get 4 for £3.75 on an auction site. Of course this is only handy if you have a charger or are willing to buy one. With a good charger, you can just stop using disposable batteries. Much cheaper in the long run, multi-purpose and if you are like me and hug trees when the moon is fat, much better for the enviroment.

I use Uniross Hybrios and a charger that came with a pack of them. It's smart enough to stop charging when they're done, and that's good enough for me.

This.

I've got a one hour energizer charger it's amazing, can pick one up for about £18 or so, it even comes with 4 AA bats.
