My step son currently has an i5-4670K with 8GB of RAM and a 970. He runs 2 monitors and the system is starting to creak a bit, especially if he tries doing anything on the second monitor whilst playing a game.
Now I know that the 'correct' answer would be to build something new, but he can't afford that but might be able to convince his dad to chip in with me and his mum for a better graphics card. With that in mind, what GPU would pair reasonably well with the current CPU (obviously improving his performance) and wouldn't be massively bottlenecked by the Intel?
