Best Cheap Sat Nav

Just rests infront of the dials, my speedo is on the right so doesnt get covered. Yes the screen is in landscape, you can rotate it within tomtom, its much better landscape anyway. :)

Can get the Garmin I3 from read me for £130 inc del.

Has full postcode search.

I got mine from Argos for £129.99 but there went back upto £179.99.

The PocketGPS database is £2 per month or £19 per year. Can just pay the £2 when ever you need it.

At 130 I am not sure I can be bothered with putting a pda/gps system together. Thanks for link. I was about to buy a new hard disk from them anyway so makes sense to add it to order.

Any notes on installation or poi or is it all quite straight forward and intuitive?

If you're due a phone upgrade then get a PDA style phone (e.g. XDA Mini S or MDA Vario, etc) on a contract for free. Then add bluetooth satnav to it (e.g. Tom Tom Navigator).

Means you have to carry a bullky phone with you the whole time though...
