best/cheapest gfx card for video

My mates looking to upgrade his pc as hes got onboard graphics and a spare AGP slot. the video play back on his pc at the moment is just no good, as it stutters and has artifacts....what AGP card should he replace it with? Hes not a gamer and just wants good stable divx/xvid/mpeg2/mov playback.

ps.He also needs dual monitors.

I would think something like the ATI Radeon 9550. It's got good poke to it, it support dual head monitors and you can pick them up for about £40.
