Best choice canon XXXD camera?

Wanting to get my partner a canon camera for Xmas. Body only
As much as I would like to give her my 60D and get a 70D it's a bit of a stretch atm

Only needs to be body only really.
Is 650d a decent bet?

Yeah my gf would probably prefer size. She isn't a porker.
Touch screen is probably a plus. Didn't realize it had touch.

I might upgrade my 60D to 70D after Xmas. I should probably look at cost + hassle of just passing my 60D down

Think I'll try the 650d body only.
Can't quite justify 70d full cost at Xmas + car insurance
