Best choice for overclocking?

I would always go for the cheaper option if they are the same stepping (E I assume) and / or type.

Generally, all CPUs of a certain revision clock to roughly the same. Sure, the higher stock-clocked tend to go a LITTLE further, but they all give up around the same ceiling.

I'd go for a 3000+ Venice if you can, although the 3200 will have a 10x multi which could help (depending on the mobo - if it's DFI NF4, go with the 3000+)

Thanks ended up giving up waiting for a reply and went 3500+ for a simple reason.. only £10 more than the 3200+ ( no OEM option available for 3200 ) and don't have a spare HSF lying around as I'll be useing the Freezer 64. Let's just hope I get a good clocker ( 2.75gig would be nice :) )
