Best city building type game?

Hey folks,
Havent bought a game in ages and I'm looking for something fairly relaxing, and I've always enjoyed city building games.

I have:
All the Sim City series
Caesar 3

Any suggestions for what to buy myself for xmas? Looking for something a little different from the above

I've been looking at Caesar 4 (dl'in demo at the mo) but i've heard it isnt too different to Caesar 3... Looking for great gameplay rather than fantastic graphics!

age of empires 3 is an amazing city building game. just be on the lookout for people trying to destroy your city

That City Life game is supposed to be good from what reviews i've read, not played it personally though.

I forgot I have Age Of Empires 1,2,3 and Settlers 2 (i think)

Age of Empires 1 with the Rise of Rome expansion. Nothing can beat that.

CivCity: Rome is pretty good. Not as good as SimCity, but still fun for a while - especially if you can find it cheap.....not worth full price.

I likd Children of the Nile. Pretty basic, but the most relaxing game ever!!!!

I loved the humour in that game

Though it had a habit of being rather easy to break once you got high tech... designing your own hover tanks with extra grav chutes (or whatever..it's been a while) allowed you to take on small armies with one unit.

...probably not such an issue in higher difficulties though...
