Best CMS package

Personally Im dead against them, but the company I work for has had 2 previous web developers that really suck and I think having me start from scratch on their site a third time is kinda bad. So they want me to use a CMS package. I've checked out Drupal and JOOMLA, and they seem "ok" at best. Does anyone know any cms packages better?

Modx is a basic one but if you have good knowledge in web sites, you could probably make something that looks very nice.

More leightweight than the rest of the 'big names' and a bit more customisable.

Your not going to find better CMS then Drupal, Joomla unless you want open source Enterprise CMS such as eZ, MySource Matrix.
