Hi all

After talking to a guy at work the other day about "arcades" and "coin-ops" it got me thinking....

What is the best coin-op game of ALL-TIME?

There will be some amazing choices and many from around the same era....so lets get thinking and lets get voting....

All suggestions layed out like so....

TITLE: {here}
REASON: {here}

mmmm....let me get thinking.... :p

cheers :)

TITLE: Final Fight
REASON: Was pure quality....remember going to a dingy arcade in Stockport (under the viaduct) with my cousin when i was about ten years of age and spending all our money to get through to the last baddy....

im sure we never did it as we ran out of "coins".... :p

that guy who when you pressed all buttons did a spinning clothesline....what was his name.... :confused:

cheers :)

TITLE: Outrun
REASON: Just brilliant

TITLE: A.P.B.

Title : Track and Field
Reason : Holiday in Jersey circa 1984, they had a joystick version, and I had an amazing waggling technique which allowed me to clock the game for a solid 5 hours, beating record after record, i had a crowd watching me, I was masterful, I love the game more than anything.

for similar reasons, I loved Hyper Sports but was never as good at it, probably because i never found one with a joystick.

Cant wait for it to be released on Live.

Golden Axe
A mate and I used to pWn this game

Space Harrier
******* loved it! Explosions, flying, big beasties & guns, what more could a young lad ask for?

Wonderboy
Classic.

Continental Circus
Spent many hours on this in the pub where my mum used to work.

Excitebike - simple to play, yet so addictive.

Quartet - Excellent 4 player platformer/shooter.

Mach 3(I think) - Flight game, think it had real backgrounds and the planes were just imposed over the top?
