With the X570 Tomahawk I will be buying soon I will want 32GB of memory, as the board has 4 memory slots and I will not want more than 32GB in total, is it best to get a set of 4x8GB or 2x16GB, or doesn't it make any difference

2x 16GB, as Ryzen's Memory Controller is only dual channel (so no benefit with 4 sticks), and will lessen the Memory Controller load, potentially allowing higher overclocks
