mobo, cpu, mem, graphics mainly for a gaming rig.

An FX type X2, DFI Sli mobo and a pair of 7800's. Now thats going to need a mortgage to buy!

two crossfired 1900 X-TX's wipe the floor, they are better than 7800gtx's, get them instead. even 1 by itself is better than a gtx.

not sure on your price range mate... but i'd look at that anyway

then if you've got money to spare in the future - purchase an X1900 Master Edition card, and run them in crossfire mode

Asus Crossfire mobo is the best currently available. I understand there is a second generation Crossfire chipset out soon but at this moment the Asus is the best. The Crossfire specced by nikebee lacks SATA2.
