Best Compact camera under £70

As it says really, just would like the best all rounder for taking pictures.

Just a family camera, easy to use but I just love clear, crisp pictures and it needs to be user friendly (for the wife), not for taking pictures of anything specific.

What can you recommend me please?

Save a little more and get the Fuji XF1, anything under £70 is going to be no better than the camera on your smartphone.
