I know looks are subjective, but I am interested in opinions on a case that could accommodate a Rampage V Extreme and at the same time not be a colossus as I keep my case on my desk. I currently have an Air 540 but I feel I've had my money's worth over the last couple of years and so fancy a wee change if something catches my eye.

Where do you all house your E-ATX builds?

Have been looking at this myself recently, narrowed down to;

Caselabs Bullet BH-7 (defintely the smallest E-ATX compatible case I've seen, but would have to import from US)
Lian Li PC-O8WX (must be the WX not the SWX or colour variations, as they have changed the position of the cable pass throughs, such that E-ATX will cover them)
Lian Li PC-09 (not available yet, and not exactly compact)
Phanteks Evolv (again, not exactly compact)
Corsair 400C
Parvum M1.0 (will fit, but just overhang the edge, I confirmed this with Parvum)

What I noticed was that many cases COULD support E-ATX, but the cable cutout positions are often placed right on the edge of where ATX would come to, so with E-ATX you would block them off.

The evolv only allows for 264mm width which is too little for the RVE.

I would go down to mATX as I already have a Parvum S2.0 but I love my RVE and would hate to part with it, plus the choice of mATX motherboard for X99 is abysmal.

The Lian Li cases look great, but that price tag! The 400c looks interesting, although WC options could be limited?

Food for thought, cheers!

I agree on the MATX choice for X99... although the EVGA Micro 2 is rather smart looking.

The price of those Lian Li's are nuts, but with the double glass front and side, they are stunning and a real showpiece. 400C limited I agree, one of the reasons I ruled it out. Parvum probably offers the most flexibility at the best price, but they are by no means cheap either.
