Hello, decided on getting the E6600 but wondering what the better overclocking motherboards are right now.

Someone has recommended the ASUS P5W DH DELUXE but I'm unsure... Is it any good? I've read the early version need a bios flash to work with E6600... Do the ones shipping now from OCUK need flashing ??

Been looking at G.Skill memory as shown here, any good ?

I'm also hoping this will work with the 7950GX2 yes?

Most motherboards work with the 7950 as it does not need to be SLi compatible... I rate the Gigbyte DS4 :)

As for memory the Gskill HZ 6400 is relaly good overclocking memory :)

I'm reading allot of compatibility problems with the gigabyte mobo and g-skill memory so i'll probably avoid that combination.

OK, Im basically down to two choices...

Its either Asus P5W DH Deluxe + G-Skill C5 or gigabyte DS4 + Corsair C5

I'm still not sure about memory compatibilty and the DS4 and also weither the bios on the asus will be updated..

Would be a slight annoyance if I receive a mobo with older bios and can't boot with P5W.. :(

Do you know if the 7950 takes a performance hit if you use it in a board that doesnt support SLI?
