Hey all, i'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times and for that I apologise, but i've never really needed to research it before, but now i'm thinking about using an all in one setup for my Xbox 360, so mic + headset, but the problem is the popular console gaming brands arent really the same as the PC ones, such as I have a pair of Sennheisers right now, and they sound stunning, and I really wouldnt want to "downgrade" in an audio way, so if anyone has any suggestions for the top end console gaming headsets i'd love to hear them, dont worry about price, I just wanna find out a bit more first, thank you :)

Mixamp + pc360's are so much better than the competition that it's really not worth considering anything else.

I've had like 4 turtle beaches, one pair of astros and sharkoon xtactics, all pretty good but turtle beach best for the price tbh.

If your PC headset uses just 2 jacks then as above pick up an Astro mixamp and you can use the same headset. If it uses more then you are looking at buying a new pair it depends on your budget, If you don't want to spend loads then Turtlebeach are good enough though every pair I have owned or used seem to have a comprimise somewhere so would probably count as a down grade from your PC headset. If you are willing to spend to have the best then Kreeeee said it, astro mixamp and PC360's. He recommended it to me when I asked a few months ago and would recommend them to anyone.

I have a pair of PC 166's which just use the Audio and Mic ports so i'd imagine that would work perfectly, I think thats the path I will go down then thank you, as yeh, I cant imagine anything console specific wise would top those unless I wanna spend big, big money, but thank you for the help then everyone, it's hugely appreciated :)

Astro A40/50 or AX Pros IMO. A40/50s are 7.1 surround sound and AX Pros are True 5.1, meaning they actually have 5 speakers in each ear cup. A very good point about the AX Pros is that because they are true 5.1, you can change how loud you want each speaker. As said above, both of these have scared the living day lights out of me when playing games like Dead Space and Silent Hill. Both compatible with PC, Mac and PS3 too should you require the benefit. Hope this helps!
