best cooler for a GPU

If you are still after buying an X1950 or two then just get a HIS model that comes with an IceQ 3, it's by far the best cooling solution for ATI cards and doesn't void your warranty either. :)

guys it is a toos up between the x1950 pro and the 1950 xtx ok i know its in 2 different ball parks , but i got £100 for my 6800gt , so a x1950 xtx will only cost me £170?
i know that dx10 is far off , and i want a card i can get great performance with now , and sell for a decent price end of the summer or next year

I wouldn't bother with an X1950XT-X then, you could get an X1900XT for less that will perform just as well with a tiny overclock.

Alternatively you could look at the new HIS X1950Pro Turbo, it comes with the IceQ 3 and according to the OcUK website runs as fast as an X1900XT (but this is yet to be seen.)

surely it must run as fast then , as if not it faulse advertizing which is illeagal and it says it on all the 1950 pro pages so it is not a typo .......

It simply cannot be the same, or anything close to a X1900XT 256mb.

3/4 shaders and pipelines and lower clocks.

Get the Tec cooled one, it will clock much higher than the card with the X2 Cooler ;)
would love to but i am not waiting till middle of november for a card , also it seems to bulky i doubt you can crossfire the thing , and its 512 , which i see as usless on this card..... paying a premium for nothing , if the 256 version was still advertized then yes
