Hi guys I'm sadly making the move back to air cooling so what's the best cooler for my prodigy?

Kinda cramped in there and I'm using an Asrock z77e-ITX board :)

I want to make sure I can get at least 4.5Ghz out of my 2500k but more would be better ;)

Thanks for your time :)

The problem is not the prodigy, it's the motherboard. The Prod can take huge coolers, the motherboards can have strange designs that limit your options. All in all, a H80i, That'll fit any configuration.

You'll have to use a CLC, like the H80i.

If you put a big air cooler on there it will block off the pci-e lane, which means no graphics card..

That particular motherboard has the socket really close to the PCI-E slot. I've seen some people mount a Thermalright AXP140, but it looks really tight. An AIO solution would probably be best, but if you go for a H100-series (or any other 240mm rad) you'll lose use of the optical bay.
