Best courier for parcels?

Whats the best courier to use in the uk? Im tired of ******links awfull service, they dont seem to get the idea of next day delivery. Royal mail have always managed to get special deliveries on time but quite a few websites wont ship with them.

Well I just had a parcel delivered by City Link, and was here just after lunch.

Ordered Sunday night, processed Monday morning, arrived Tuesday lunchtime.

AlSo up-to-date track service on there site.

My dad drives for DCS couriers based here in oxford but they deliver all over the place he goes to the top of scotland once every two weeks !

citylink have always come good for me.

Im a fan of City Link, I'm on first name terms with the delivery driver that always drops off here. Hes quite friendly and always has a chat... beats the Parcel Force lot, who just stick those "im sorry you were out" cards through the door without even ringing the doorbell!

Royal Mail have always been the best for me. I like how if i'm not in I can easily pick it up from the head office in my town rather than some depot 30 miles away

AVOID Sameday Dispatch Services (http://www.sameday-delivery.co.uk/)

Booked them today for an urgent delivery - guess what, they didn't even bother to turn up. Booked them at 10 am today and they debited my account five minutes later

Absolutely useless. Now I'm probably going to have to chase them for a refund and look at same day couriers for an extortionate price




On a lighter note, I've always found Send-a-Parcel to be good (http://www.sendaparcel.com/). They use Parcel Force but they're cheaper and always reliable. I'd have used them today but they didn't offer same day pickup because it's Valentine's Day

Where possible I always try to use Royal Mail special delivery. Always been brilliant for me
