i have just purchased a Phantom white 410 case and will be installing a Gigabyte Z68A-D3H & Intel Core i5-3570K, i will be overclocking at somestage in the future but i am just learning the basics at the minute. :p

i want something quiet and easy to install, i also want it to be of great quality and look good in my case too.

i was wondering should i get an air cooled or a liquid cooled CPU cooler?

cheers roo

at your price range this is the best

come in 4 colours

The corsair h100

is above budget and only slightly better then the phanteks we are talking 1-2 degrees at full load anything above that is a custom loop and they can run in hundreds of pounds.

but the noise of the H-100 fans are very loud at full load, while the phanteks will be quieter at same performance ;)

the Phanteks is excellent.
also consider the
K2 on offer at £57 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-020-AL&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=1395
or the NH-D14, at £73, but virtually the same performance as the K2 and Phanteks.

just go for the cheapest or the ones you like the look of

this Phanteks fans looks cool...

it would look good in my case. how would it handle if i was to overclock in the future?

It is the best air cooler money can buy so take from that what you will only the h100 will beat it on performance but as has been said the h100 is pretty loud. Ultimately unless your gonna be running a high overclock or cpu intensive programs for several hours like folding then a mid range air cooler would more then suffice thats my honest opinion. But if you want the best the phanteks is the best for air cooling.

If it won't there are no production coolers that will. ;)
Phanteks is one of best without a doubt. You can't get better production cooler.

I have the Phanteks PH-TC14PE CPU Cooler and its very good and even when the fans are running at full its still silent:cool:
