Best CPU cooler/Heatsink for <£25?

also look up the MUX-120. I keep pushing it, but there are little reviews. :) It's a revamped Thermalright Ultra 120.

It's more compliant with high heatsinks (thin), nice mounting mechanism, nice thermal paste, quiet, and seem to do the job. 160mm high.

163mm max cooler height, so thats all the coolers suggested will be ok.

Unless the MUX-120 varies as much as the Silverarrow does when actually measured against its specs.

It won't go above 160mm in height. The fan is only 120mm rather than 140mm of the Silver Arrow and the top of the heatpipe isn't as big.

How does the Zaward fare with overclocking?

It seems the comparably priced heatsinks all fall short with their headroom for overclocking...

Also, would the Corsair A50 fit in a Coolermaster 330 case?

I was under the impression that the Coolermaster Hyper 212+ was the best heatsink for the price range?

However, I have a Coolermaster elite 330 case and I have heard it doesn't fit. I'm just looking for something comparable that will allow me to OC my 2500k to 4.4/4.5

Should also add I have a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

No review sites are really that reliable tbh look at my archon on vortez yet my load temps gaming etc are around 46-50c prime = 58-65c IBT = 65-72c i5 750 @ 4ghz 1.375 volts which doesn't stack up at all with vortez's results but having said that I respect vortez and oc3d opinions and tests over all others I have seen thus far.

I'd say worth stretching to the £30 thermalright venomous x

That means I should have about 8 millimetres to spare, guessing that's enough!

Think I will go for the Hyper 212 Plus then, thanks Stulid and co for the help (once again)!

I have a spare CPU fan lying about and I see the Hyper 212 plus has support for dual fans.

What is the deal with this? Does it have a power converter to attach 2 at a time?
