Money not so much a problem whats the best air cpu cooler to buy and whats the best water cooler?

I am worried though about the noise a water cooler makes and because I am not overclocking as such I thin a good silent air cooler would do the trick.

Noctua NH-D15 is just about the best air cooler money can buy.

But if you're not overclocking, it's overkill.

What's your CPU? I suspect the modern Intels can run with a fanless cooler at stock - certainly the i3s, if not the i5 and i7s. Personally, I run a fanless Xigmatek Thor's Hammer to cool an (admittedly rather weedy) Athlon x2 270, with a mild overclock.

I'm running a i5 3570k but it is reaching temps of nearly 70c under full load(prime95) I want to bring this down a but the motherboard or the chip seems to be overclocking the chip a little and I think I should bring those temps down.

Prime95 is hardly typical usage - I wouldn't base cooler upgrade decision on Prime performance.

What temperatures do you get in real use?

e:
And are you using stock cooler?

After a few minutes of playing fifa I am touching 58-60c, Would there be any benefit to changing the fan? I don't feel that comfortable about repasting the cpu

50 -60c under load seems ok I was getting temps like that using an AIO Water cooler ..and idle temps of around 30ish with my 4670K and also about the same temps with my 8320 too

Hi I use a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and have zero complaints. Extremely quiet (I use Speedfan to control the RPM) temps are always good. Even at full load never goes above 38c
