BEST CPU COOLING TECHNIQUE

ok i have just put another fan on top of my cpu fan...best result it lowered the temperature and i was able to overclock my 3.2GHz p4 to nearly 3.8GHz and it is still running at only 40oC

that'll up the noise though or atleast have you noticed its noisier?
best to just get a big quiet fan with heatsink such as the zalman or the artic cooling range. what cooler do you have at the minute?

na still very quiet i really do recomend it...and yes there is heatsink under the 2 fan really effective

What heatsink?
The problem i find with putting a fan on my heatsink with an amber is that i can only fit the fan 1 way around, so its sucking air in to the heatsink otherwise it scraches the fan it it doesnt spin if i put it the other way around. Ah well :O still getting good temps
