A quad core X6800 would be the best cpu for that motherboard

or did you mean the best one in a resonable budget? In which case you'll need to be more specific

Because my motherboard is abit dated i dont think i would get the full potential of a quad core X6800 , i really dont want to upgrade my motherboard as i want to wait for the next generation of laptops many thanks for the reply MuSsEr .

Coz im about to buy a P5N32-SLI 680i and i wouldnt concider it dated at all, lol
