Hi all im currently looking into a new build and have various options which way to go about things first of all cpu choice im not into gaming but love to download blurays and love music so im wondering what would be my best option for a processor ive seen 2 processors that could suit one is

Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor and the other

AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8350 Black Edition 4.00GHz (Socket AM3+) Processor

is they anybody thats into HD films and music like myself that could advise what option would be my best im looking to spend between £750-£900 on the new build many trhanks...nick:)

Both are massively overkill to be frank.

CPU's pretty irrelevant with anything modern, as they'll handle the films and music easy.

You'd probably be better off with a tablet :p

For what you want I would just get the cheaper option, which will also be good for encoding.

Maybe worth mentioning that the 8350 is just an overclocked 8320 so if you pick the AMD route you can save yourself some cash there, get the 8320 and clock it up.

If you're not into gaming but like watching BluRay and storing movies etc. An AMD APU would be perfect for a small low power PC.

A10 6700 can be picked up for £89 and would suit your needs.
FM2+ GA-F2A88XM-D3H is a brilliant mobo, we have one here.

£50 http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4716#dl

Shove in 8GB of ram and a nice big HDD and you're set for an all in one capable PC.

yea i think ill go the AMD route many thanks gents im not into gaming just browsing music and films and streaming really the pc would be rigged up to my samsung smart tv im just wondering do any of you gents know which is a good case for the build majority of cases only have 2 usb ports i was thinking corsair cause i was thinking of getting the corsair 2.1 speaker system for my music and a good sound card for films and music so i wanted it corsair case to go with the speakers

that looks a nice case could i put this soundcard in just one question i use windows 7 but on me old pc i have a tv card that i used to watch tv from media centre so id use my pc speakers 5.1 instead of the tv speakers so the aerial went into the back of the pc now i have this samsung smart tv would i be able to get freeview HD on my media centre if so what tv card would i need so i could record freeview hd on the pc instead of the tv
