I currently have the Swiftech Apex kit which has the Apogee cpu waterblock, is this still good or is there better out now? My temps are high on the Q6600 and although I can rejig things to knock off a few C, I wanted to check that the block was still upto scratch.

Also the pump is on about 3/5 setting (will check this), is that a good setting or is a faster or slower pump speed better? I only have the one block in the loop with the dual 120mm rad and res.

Thanks

You'll find increaseing the pump speed won't really make much difference. The original Apogee is a decent enough block and it would only really be worth changing it out for a FuZion or GTX if you're chasing the very last MHz out of your CPU.

Thanks for the info chaps. I'm going to lap the current one and make some other changes. I'll keep the other blocks and rads in mind, depending on the the outcome.
