Reading the other topics on here makes me pine for the Diablo II days which were fantastic at small LAN's
What's the best modern day RPG game you can play at a small LAN. Note this rules out online games like WoW, I don't have the time, inclination or interest. I like games with a defintitive beginning and end
Any suggestions?
Neverwinter Nights 2? Someone mentioned 'Hellgate london' to me once?
I remember we played Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 a few years back. They were good but just seemed like clones of Diablo II without capturing what made that game great (a proper ongoing story line with FMV that made you feel you were achieving something at the end of each chapter) Plus the COOP felt like a bolt on rather than a thought out way to play.
