Best Current CPU Cooler?

So what are regarded as the top CPU coolers at this moment in time?, im also including the Water Coolers in this category as well. I was looking at either the Alpenföhn K2 Mount Doom or Corsair Hydro H100i, now the Corsair is almost twice as much but surely it has to do a better job of cooling an OC CPU, takes up less room, and looks more esthetically pleasing in the system???

Trouble with all in one watercoolers is they arnt that reliable

Top air coolers are the phanteks,noctua d14 and silver arrow plus the one you mentioned

I've just got a NZXT Kraken X60. I think its pretty awesome so far.

K2 Mount Doom it is then, seems silly to pay almost double when the are soo closely matched!
