Best current TV no more than £1500

Hi all, I want the TV mainly for movies, netflix I watch a lot of TV shows and this is for the living room. I also plan on getting a soundbar to go with this, anyone have any suggestions, I have looked at the below two thus far but unsure!

Sony KD65XD7505 65
Samsung UE65KU6000 65"

I have been edging towards the Samsung but wanted some people better in the know's conclusion

If your willing to drop £1500 on a tv can you not stretch another £200 and get a LG OLED or wait a few month for the TV refresh and pick up one in the sales.

Why would you get a KU6000?

You can get a 65" KS7000 for less than £1500 and it's has a far superior panel/HDR.

why no ultra wide TV's like PC monitors? That way 2:35 movies are full screen. I think my next TV will be same ratio as 2:35.

Because people tend to watch 16:9 TV shows more than movies.

Philips released a 21:9 TV once but it didn't sell very well.

Because projectors are for movies and with a projector you can customise your screen to be 2:35

wow b6 is now back to 2K. Got mine for 1.5K back in Jan from JL - got lucky with the price match I must admit.
