since i updated to 5.0.1 last week, totally destory the battery life. i tried everything to increase the battery life. doesnt work. very disappointed.

so whats best custom rom for battery life for S4

Have you tried clearing the cache partition? Or even a factory reset? Usually requires this after a major android upgrade for TouchWiz based phones.

Often when upgrading from one Android version to another, some of the older leftover files get left behind which can conflict with the newer OS. Usually clearing the cache partition will sort it out, but if that doesn't then a factory reset is the next best thing a it will allow the new OS version to start fresh without the old clutter.

Have a look at Titanium Backup, though I think it needs root access? Otherwise not too sure, up until now I've backed up stuff individually, hopefully someone will have other options as well?

didnt fix the problem for me.

in last 1 week every day i get message saying sim card not found pls restart. once restart its fine. lot of people with 5.0.1 got same problem.

now i need go back to 4.4.2

so how?

my s4 is unbranded one from carphone warehouse. sim free handset.

is BTU 4.4.2 UK right one for my S4?
