I got this game with my 360 a few days ago and LOVE it :D

One thing, and sorry for being a bit OT, it wont let me do some missions? like people are barricaded in, i go there, they're alive but the mission thing just goes grey. Do i need to do the main storyline first and they're for replaying through or what?

When it goes grey doesnt it mean you are ON the mission

Try breaking the barricade and speaking to them ;)
 
Haven't played Dead Rising in a while, wish I was back up home more often so I could play it more.

Hardware Store (the big one near the supermarket) was my favourite place in the game :D
