best device for controlling pc and games wireless

As well as watch TV/movies I also want to play a few games from the luxury of my bed, I can play the games with a wireless Xbox controller but id also like to remotely scroll through folders , launch apps etc from the desktop

Is this possible with the xbox controller or is there another device I would need?, obviously being sprawled out in my pit it wouldn't be practicle to use a wireless mouse or keyboard

Wireless trackball, Logitech M570 or similar.

PS4 pad, Bluetooth dongle and InputMapper. You can use the touch sensitive thing as a touch pad.

Why? I use a logitech mx mouse even when sitting in an armchair. Works great on draylon.

I use the Logitech m570 thumb trackball perfect for when a mouse is to awkward to use.

Be warned took me nearly a month to get used to it.
