Hi all,

I did a search but there appears to be little recent talk of these.

I have a new Dell XPS 15 and would like to connect it to a separate USB keyboard, monitor and mouse.

Any recommendations on the best ones? Caveats? Opinions?

Thanks

Go wireless mouse and keyboard with those little low profile USB dongles and just leave them in when you're at home, then just use hdmi/displayport for the monitor?

I asked for a dock from my employer more as I wanted to use one for charging so I didn't have to keep moving power leads around, and they sent me a USB replicator instead :( Tried using it but it was really pretty pointless, the USB dongles for both the keyboard and mouse are tiny and I just take them out when not needed. Then I just use displayport cable for monitor and sound, the replicator is back in it's box.

I'm in the same situation I have Y500 with 3 USB in total and I have 4 devices that need to be connected:D So every time I get home I connect my keyboard, laptop cooler, HDMI to monitor, network cable, jack to my sound bar and trust me is a lot of work:D I would love to get home connect 1 USB and power plug and Bhaaam done:D So for now I'm looking at Dell d3100 dock but for £150 is tooooo much maybe for £100 I will pick it up. As for the rest of the docks on the market al of them have very high CPU usage and mess with games... Hold on maybe some one will come by and give us more info:D

The £150 will be expensed :)
