Best drive cloning software.

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting Acronis True Image as hard drive cloning software, I've had the trail, and I was impressed by it. Question is to you, is there any better software for doing what I'm doing - cloning laptop hard drives onto other unused hard drives.

Probably not. Acronis is popular home users and pros alike. If it works for you and you're happy with it I'd buy it.

I use True Image, it's really good.

For free you could look at something like Clonezlla - graphics wise it looks fairly basic but I imagine it's probably more powerful than True Image.

I haven't used it but EASEUS Disk Copy looks to be free.

Since I've got to train my Dad to use it, I think something simple but powerful like true image would be best. Thanks for the input guys.
