Hello,

Due to the dimensions and layout of our bedroom, I've been looking into ultra short throw projectors.

Ideally I'd like a drop down screen that's remote controlled (as it would come down over a window).

I've heard that for UST projectors, you're better off displaying on the wall, or getting a screen that's weighted?

Totally new to this so any advice is appreciated.

Regards,

Lee

This might be of no use to you but...

I did lots of research about projector screen a few years ago, the enthusiasts will tell you to spend at least £800 to get a "decent" one, as the projector was only 1k and the budget was tight I eventually decided to take a punt and get a cheap one of the bay, 100" full remote control drop down...I'm still using it to this day (3 projectors later) and am more than happy with it...it cost £100 plus vat!

Sort of helps :-P I could take the punt as long as the returns policy was solid I guess. I don't want to spend a fortune on it and £100 mark would be bang on :) I don't need something amazing. I just want something that'll do.

The screen will be covering a window mate.

Paint all the windows!!!

Buy any projector screen that looks good from a good company not high end but not Chinese crap. Material and what colour it is mater too as shade of grey will bring out black but need bright projector to be bright hehe. Any questions please ask I will do my best to help.
