Hi im new to the DS scene and was wondering what games you would all reccommend im willing to try all genres and will look into all suggestions.

I currrently own mario kart, mario bros and the brain training games.

Thanks a lot

Meh, Zelda bored me after a while, but it might be your cup of tea. The combat is easy and the exploration is very limited.

My picks would be Advance Wars, Warioware and, if you're willing to swallow your pride, one of the Pokemon games. Pheonix Wright and Hotel Dusk are worth a look too.

People have already mentioned Zelda, which is awesome...

Kirby: Canvas Curse is great if you want a very stylus driven game.
Elite Beat Agents is awesome fun (though Kreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee will tell you to get Ouendan instead)
Meteos is another good stylus game - it's in the vein of Tetris but it's really, really fast. Difficulty tends to range from moderate to WTF. Good if you like a challenge.
Tetris DS is great, provided you're not too much of a Tetris purist Nazi. The online play is good fun.
Metroid Prime: Hunters works well as a sort of third person adventure/shooter.

Geometry Wars
Hotel Dusk
... rub rabbits... I completed it the other day. Was really good fun.

Chaos, you watched 43 yet? I'm going to watch it later tonight.

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! 1&2
Phoenix Wright 1,2,3 (and im guessing 4 as well when it comes out :p)
Zelda Phantom Hourglass
Meteos

in that order :)

Id stay away from the nintendogs imo, too boring, buti never like those sorts of games anyway.

42 all time classics is another one which i thoroughly enjoyed. So many games to keep you playing. If you dont like card games then id stay clear of it, again it good with other people.

Ive heard worms open warfare is decent too, has good online aswell.

Got a red DS from HK last week. Currently playing Zelda, which is very good.....Warioware too is good fun......Also just put ScummVM on it for Monkey Island 1 and 2 goodness :D
