Best Dual GPU laptop

Okay, so.. there's basically 2 options.

One is the Clevo P370EM, you will see this rebranded a lot. i.e.
- Origin EON17 that you found,
- Graphite LG20,
- XMG P722 Pro,
- Sager NP9370,
- countless others...

The other is:
Alienware's m18x

The Alienware is bigger, heavier, and has more "bling" features, as far as the performance on both goes, if you use the same CPU/GPUs in both, you should have the same performance.

Also, both of these are bulky and heavy laptops, like, you should consider them desktop replacements rather than laptops.

The P370EM is a 4.3kg machine with another 1.5kg power brick.

The Alienware m18x is 5.4kg + probably similar weighted power brick.

Thanks for the response, but of all of these laptops. Can anyone recommend the best one. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks

Well, I have the P370EM.

Between the P370EMs, they are all identical, they only differ on the logo and which components you choose to customise them with, some of the stockists have more customisation options than others.

That's what I mean when I say you only have two options:
- Clevo P370EM
- Alienware M18x

As I am looking for one with a dual gpu, is there anywhere you can recommend? I would buy one from overclockers but unfortunately they don't give the option of dual gpu. Does the one from origin look good in terms of cost?
Also what is your experience with the P370EM? would you recommend it?
Thanks again

So, my P370EM is configured with the i7-3630QM, 16gb RAM, and two 7970Ms. I've also got a 256gb Samsung 830 and a 250gb Samsung 840 in it, although with a Crucial M4 256gb in the mSATA and 1TB hard disk. I'm using the Intel 6235 wireless card and the laptop runs Windows 8.

The machine is fast, faster than any other laptop I've ever seen or used, it scores higher in 3D Mark 11 than my PC (although this makes me trust 3D Mark less). The computer is bulky, and not light, and the battery life is nothing special.. but that's the trade off for a laptop this speed.

A few minor annoyances:

1. The laptop does have a full-ish keyboard with a number pad, it's also backlit (and you have three multicolour regions that you can change the lighting on), however, it doesn't have dedicated Home and End buttons, instead, Home and End is overlaid on Pg Up and Pg Down, making you use the function key to use Home/End, and making the Shift+Home/End more difficult that it has to be.

2. The touchpad doesn't have any obvious buttons and the whole pad presses down... this pad was designed to be used where one finger click means left click and two finger click means right click. You can configure this to have the traditional bottom left is left click and bottom right is right click... however, it doesn't really feel exactly the same as the whole pad will click down if you apply pressure to it.

I'd go with Alienware, as I have the m17x, youre going to be spending a lot of money, you might as well spend that much money on something premium
That being said, the P370EM is so much better than the P170EM. The difference is really the cost
