Best DVD Software

I make loops for club screens, I used to use Nero 3, a bit clunky, looping wasn't the smoothest, but seeing as it appears to have known compatibility issues with SP3, I was looking for a new solution.

I like to render out to MOV, but Nero only ever wanted AVI which lost a lot of the quality, so if that can be improved upon that would be great.

I have used Sothink Movie DVD Maker to put .mov files onto a DVD, and it's free. Don't know if this is what you are after?
