Best (easiest to use) web mail client?

Not had any experience with anything other than GMail, and my friends parents want to move off GMail to something else... Any suggestions? eg: Hotmail or Yahoo for example?

I use hotmail, have done for years, never had any problem.

Hotmail is probably the easiest to use and generally has offered very few problems for me. I do also have a Yahoo account but it isn't quite a easy or as intuitive.

OK... Ta... And is it as good as GMail with nuking spam? Gmail is amazing in that area!

I don't have a GMail account so I can't compare directly I'm afraid, however I've had my email address since about 2000 and I end up with about 10-20 emails per day directed to my junk folder correctly - very few false positives and only a small amount of spam gets through to my inbox. Overall I'd say it was pretty good for me.

Hotmail has been great for me and has gradually got better over the past year and blocks junk really well.
